Full Steam Ahead - SLA® SLS® Capacity to Spare
I spent the last several days negotiating the purchase of 10 rapid prototyping machines to support our new fractional manufacturing business model at Tangible Express. This massive order, probably one of the largest single orders in the industry in a long time, underscores my belief that we are on our way to new models in manufacturing. If I can successfully prove out my business model in the rapid prototyping industry–an industry that sits squarely between industrial design / engineering and manufacturing–I am confident that I will be able to extend the model to repatriate manufacturing and provide cleaner/greener solutions to manufacturing.
