Drag and Drop Media Sharing — Sharea Launches in Beta
I just popped over to Sharea and ran through their tour. I plan to test the service more fully tomorrow since most of my sharable files are at the office, however I have set up an account and uploaded some photos. What a slick interface. It was really easy to upload the photos. Once uploaded you can drag the media to different sharing groups.
I’ve gotta hand it to Sharea; they have one of the more clever social networking domain names in a while. I know how hard it is becoming to find decent domain names. I find myself wishing that I had snapped this one up myself. The following from their press release.
“The newly created social networking and media sharing online platform, www.sharea.com, allows people to search for photos, audios, videos and people, as well as set up and read media Blogs and more. Users can meet up with friends anywhere in the world and retain control over their own files and who can share them. It is now entering into its beta test phase.”
This one will be interesting to monitor. Looks like they are targeting the 18yrs + crowd. It will be interesting to see what kind of content this approach attracts.
For more information you should read their press release.
